China the 4th biggest import source of Israel in Jan-May, 2007

Deducting trading statistics between Israel and Palestine, Israel’s export totaled 21.582 billion USD and import totaled 21.277 billion USD in Jan-May 2007, which up by 12.3% and 9.8% respectively. Its trade surplus amounted to 3.05 billion USD.

In Jan-May, 2007, Israel’s export to USA was 7.73 billion USD, accounted for 35.8% of total export value, up by 7.9% year-on-year. Its export to EU was 6.48 billion USD, accounted for 30%, up by 22%, and to Asia was 3.85 billion USD, accounted for 17.8%, up by 10.4%.

Israel’s import from EU was 8.08 billion USD, accounted for 38% of total import, up by 7.2%, its import from Asia was 4.47 billion USD, accounted for 21%, up by 17%, and from USA was 2.86 billion USD, accounted for 13.4%, up by 20.6%.

The biggest import sources of Israel included USA (with 2.86 billion USD, accounted for 13.4% of Israel’s import value), Belgium (with 1.75 billion USD, accounted for 8.2%), Germany (with 1.39 billion USD, accounted for 6.5%), and China (with 1.26 billion USD, accounted for 5.9%).

The biggest export destinations of Israel included USA (with 7.73 billion USD, accounted for 35.8%), Belgium (with 1.63 billion USD, accounted for 7.6%), Hong Kong (with 1.2 billion USD, accounted for 5.6%), and UK (with 0.8 billion USD, accounted for 3.7%). China ranked the 11th place with 0.42 billion USD, accounted for 1.9%.

Except diamond import, the biggest import sources of Israel included USA (with 2.62 billion USD, accounted for 15%), Germany (with 1.39 billion USD, accounted for 7.9%), and China (with 1.25 billion USD, accounted for 7.2%). The biggest export destinations of Israel included USA (with 3.87 billion USD, accounted for 28%), Germany (with 0.78 billion USD, accounted for 5.6%), and Netherlands (with 0.69 billion USD, accounted for 5%). China ranked the 10th place with 0.35 billion USD, accounted for 2.6%.
